Benefits
Club members enjoy presentations on the latest personal computer hardware and software, receive a monthly newsletter (Bay Bytes), containing reviews of programs and hardware, and other computer-related news. Members also are able to contact a group of club volunteers for answers to computing questions, and have access to a library of books, instructional video tapes, and CD-ROM training materials. Qualified members also have the opportunity to review programs and hardware from major companies, and then own the program when their review is published in the club's newsletter. At some meetings, great door prizes are won by lucky club members. In addition, some vendors and local merchants offer product discounts to club members.
The club has several SIGs (special interest groups) that meet each month to offer more personalized education about computer software programs and hardware. Click on the meeting schedule for more information.
